It’s the greatest song ever, at the same time, probably the cheesiest song ever. Just don’t listen to the lyrics. They make no sense. All you have to do is sit back and rock out. It’ll take care of itself.
I do have fond memories of this song. During my first 6 months on my current job, I worked with another manager. We decided we were going to raise the quality of Remedy ticket documentation. We’d get together each day to sort through the tickets. We usually played “cheesy” 80’s rock while we did this. “The Final Countdown” came up a lot. It totally rocks.
By the way, we did increase ticket documentation. I should write up a case study of how we did it.
